     Appolon    Delios
The piece is dedicated to Apollon, the ancient deity that was worshiped as the god of light, knowledge, music, philosophy, oracle, and medical profession.
Dimensions: H5.25’’xW3.25''xD1.75''
Palm tree leaf and fiver.  Magnolia. Titanium. brass. Copper. 3mm peridot.  3mm jade.
Technique: Harvested natural leaf. Gypsy setting. Soldering. Cutting. Fusing. Polishing.

I have used three natural components in this composition. The most unique is the center piece having its own intrinsic visual values, aesthetics and natural colors .
The only elaboration was the cylindrical twist given after the harvesting.
The background piece became my canvas to express an idea and beget a visual environment during fabrication. The palm tree fibers are a very durable material, the best choice to use as a base and attach the metal pin-bracket in the back side. The natural world becomes a language to express a concept through my own interpretation. The piece is dedicated to Apollon, the ancient deity that was worshiped as the god of light, knowledge, music, philosophy, oracle, and medical profession.
